HELIX
WOLFSON

AI Storyteller|Creative Technologist|Speaker

Where Artificial Intelligence
Meets Human Connection

On stage at Innovate@UCLA, SXSW and MindshareLA

Technology is most powerful when it helps us become more human, not less.

Helix Wolfson

A storyteller disguised as a technologist

Helix Wolfson is an award-winning director, AI speaker and podcaster who has spent twenty years where story meets technology.

He has directed films, campaigns and music videos for Google, Microsoft, BMW, Uber, Toyota, AT&T, Deloitte, Salesforce, Infiniti and Gorillaz. In 2020 he built The Infinite Playa, the virtual Burning Man, then co-founded Infinite Reality and helped take it from an experimental startup to a multi-billion-dollar metaverse and AI company.

Today he runs Helix Imagen, making cinematic AI content for brands and teaching their teams to make it themselves. On stage he demystifies AI and shows people how to treat it as a creative partner, not a replacement, so their work gets faster, smarter and more human.

How he got here
Back in time
Now2026, EQlibrium & the book

Launching EQlibrium

EQlibrium is a voice-first app for practicing the conversations people dread. You talk it through with AI characters who react like real people, so you can build emotional intelligence before the stakes are real. He's also writing a book on hype bubbles, drawn from his front-row seat to the metaverse boom.

"Communicating effectively isn't something they teach you in school. It should be the first thing we learn."
2025Helix Imagen

Founding Helix Imagen

An AI content studio built on twenty years of filmmaking. Helix Imagen makes top-tier AI-generated content for brands and teaches companies how to make it themselves, with their own taste in the director's chair.

"I'm a dreamer and a builder."
2023Innovate@UCLA

On stage: Embracing the AI Opportunity

Opening keynote at Innovate@UCLA's Executive Awards, UCLA Anderson's entrepreneurship gathering. The keynote the year before was Peter Diamandis.

"We've never had technology that thought for itself. That's no longer the case."
2022Infinite Reality

The face of the metaverse

In 2022 Infinite Reality was acquired and things took off. As co-founder, President of Metaverse Operations and spokesperson, Helix took the stage at SXSW, GITEX, London Tech Week and NAB, building cutting-edge virtual experiences and helping take the company from experimental startup to a multi-billion-dollar metaverse and AI company.

"The bleeding edge is the tip of the spear. It's painful, things don't work, and you're figuring something big out."
2020The metaverse

When Burning Man was canceled, he rebuilt it online

The Infinite Playa let thousands of burners build avatars, ride art cars and feel it, for real. It became the seed of Infinite Reality. Same year, with live music shut down, he launched the WeHOWL concert series for frontline workers.

"The thing I love in the world is to make people feel part of something."
2019Comic-Con

Building the Batcave

As an immersive experience designer, Helix built a full-scale Batcave for Batman's 80th birthday at Comic-Con. Equal parts production design, logistics and nerve.

"You can really get far intellectually when you can make people feel something physically."
2017The Mayor of Love

He legally became Paul E. Amori and ran for mayor of LA

Helix created a political campaign unlike any other, one that ran on a single question: what would love do? He spent the campaign on Skid Row, celebrated his rivals' best ideas and lent his campaign manager to set up a debate the incumbent skipped. He didn't win. He won the room.

"What's the most loving solution for the most amount of people? That should be the game."
2012Immersive worlds

Building wild things in real space

In 2012 his alter ego Paul E. Amori was first elected "mayor" of Lightning in a Bottle. A year later came Amori's Casino & Burlesque, a 40x60 circus tent of cabaret, fire, brass bands and magic that ran at the festival for years and landed at Burning Man in 2015. In 2016 he crashed a New Orleans riverboat on a lake at the Oregon Eclipse.

2010Incite Visual Media

Guerrilla filmmaking goes pro

The moment HD video could finally live online, Helix took his guerrilla filmmaking techniques and founded Incite Visual Media. It served everyone from small businesses to Google, Microsoft, Uber, Toyota, AT&T, Deloitte, Salesforce and BMW, plus ten years as NAVEX Global's sole video partner.

2005The filmmaker

CallBack, shot on 35mm

His first feature, a dark comedy about Hollywood, shot on film on sets he built himself. He wrote, directed, produced and edited it. CallBack won Best Director, Best Film and a string of acting awards for its cast at multiple film festivals.

"At my core, I'm a storyteller. We've been telling stories around campfires for thousands of years."

That's the story so far.
Want it told live?

"If you're not careful, AI takes you for a ride. AI becomes the director."
On Delivering Marketing Joy

Your audience walks in curious about AI. They walk out ready to use it.

They leave withOne question to lead through change that people actually remember and use.

Emotional Intelligence in a Digital Age
